Some things to know before you book
"Plan Your Appointments"
Before your iron infusion, ensure you have a prescribed iron solution. If not, book with our GP or yours for a prescription. Ideally, schedule these on separate days; if not, our team will help with timing. To see our GP, click here or call 02 5112 2248. Ensure ample time between appointments for a smooth process.

We operate within the Chisholm Medical Centre, this means that appointment bookings need to be made via the Chisholm Medical Centre HotDoc booking page or by calling us at 02 5112 2248.

If you haven't been prescribed the iron solution, see one of our GPs or your own for a prescription before your infusion appointment.
“Every detail matters”
Bring your prescribed iron solution to the infusion appointment. Don't worry about consumables or an infusion kit; we'll provide those for you.
“Accuracy ensures quality care”
Ensure you have all the necessary documents for your appointment. Our GPs will specifically require your blood test results, which include iron studies or ferritin, and Hb or FBC. These tests are crucial as they help determine the amount of iron you need.
“A seamless process with all the information”
If referred by another GP or specialist, it's preferred (though not mandatory) to bring the referral letter.
“Care tailored to every individual”
We can perform iron infusions on any patient over the age of 14 years, including pregnant women and the elderly.

Post-treatment, a follow-up blood test is recommended in 2-3 months. We'll remind you via the HotDoc App.
